The church council of Zion Lutheran Church meets at 7:00 PM on the first Monday following the first Sunday of each month. All members are encouraged to attend council meetings. Zion Lutheran Church of Silverhill completed its 104th Congregational Meeting on January 31, 2010, with the election of Peter Midgarden to the Church Council and the re-election of Darlene Tasso to the position of Church Treasurer. Newly elected people joined the Council for a brief order of installation at the conclusion of the church service on February 7. The Church Council is composed of four members and the Treasurer who will serve for the next year. Returning Church Council members are Shirley Stephens, Charlie Canning, and Mack Gibbs.
